Altizer, Kenneth Barry

Kenneth Barry Altizer, 47, of 3869 Clarks Mill Road, Draper, died Saturday night, September 29, 2007 in Pulaski. He was born in Montgomery County on March 20, 1960 and was the son of the late Kenneth Laverne Altizer. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carliss Altizer and Anthony “Tony” Altizer.

Surviving her his wife, Alice T. Altizer of Draper; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Christopher Martin of Hiwassee; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Demetria Altizer of Pulaski; grandchildren, Christopher Martin, Jr., Hunter Martin and Ephraim Altizer; mother, Elsie Reed Altizer of Pulaski; brothers, Harless “Hobby” Altizer of Riner and Roger “Bitty” Altizer of Pulaski; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Dora Taylor of Pulaski and brothers-in-law, C.L. Taylor of Dublin, Dean Taylor of Shiloh and Darrell Taylor of Dublin.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m., from the Max Creek Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Coleman and the Rev. Judy Younce officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper. Visiting will be Monday evening from Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
