Altizer, Keith Allen

Keith Allen Altizer, 48, of Christiansburg, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Altizer.

He is survived by his father, Kenneth Altizer; his aunt, Helen Roop, of Riner; his uncles, Fred Altizer and wife, Sandy, of Roanoke, and Fred Saunders, of Christiansburg; as well as his close personal friend, Dan Brugh.

Keith was a 1983 graduate of Christiansburg High School. He was a member of Christiansburg Presbyterian Church. He was employed for a number of years by Good Will Industries-New River Workshops in Radford.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. until noon at Christiansburg Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will commence at noon with Dr. Don Makin officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Greater Blue Ridge Chapter, 3959 Electric Road, Suite 222, Roanoke, VA 24018.
