Altizer, Arlene Duncan

Arlene Duncan Altizer, 73, of Radford, Va., passed away Monday, March 29, 2010, at the Radford Health and Rehab Center. She was a member of the West Radford Church of God and a retired nurse’s aide. She was born in Floyd County the daughter of the late Rufus and Bessie Higgs Duncan. Survivors include her husband, Teddy C. Altizer, of Radford; two sons and daughters-in-law, David C. Altizer and Lisa Lytton, of Dublin and Darryl W. and Lisa Altizer, of Radford; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Jerry Quesenberry, of Radford; four sisters, Evelyn Quesenberry, Norma Jean Graham and Edith Phillips, all of Floyd and Pearl Hodges, of Salem; and three grandchildren, David Matthew Altizer, Amanda Nicole Altizer and Carlton Bruce Altizer. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 7 p.m. at the West Radford Church of God with the Rev. Hershel Daniels and the Rev. Jim Walker officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church prior to the service. Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to West Radford Church of God, P.O.
