Altizer, Annie Beckleheimer

Annie May Altizer, born on December 28, 1926, was promoted to heaven on January 9, 2021, due to complications of COVID-19. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Hines and Georgia Beckleheimer; stepbrother, Roy Beckleheimer; stepsister, Bertha Giroux; and beloved husband, William Earnest Altizer, whom she married on September 19, 1958.

Annie May is remembered by her daughters, Earnestine Altizer and husband Teddy, and Darlene Nester and husband Terry; her grandchildren Brad (Jennifer) Bowman, Bridgett (Mark) Frame, Jessica (Jared) Jones, and Jody Nester; and her five great-grandchildren, Allison, Macie, Denali, Grant, and Sequoia.

Annie will be remembered for her life-long love of gardening, bird watching, and spending time with family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 12, from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
