Alls Sr., Russell Coolidge

Russell Coolidge Alls Sr., 82, of Blacksburg, Va., died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Heritage Hall. He was born in Roanoke County, Va., on May 2, 1928, to the late Waltus and Martha Ann Hilton Alls. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Pauline Alls; three sons, Basel Alls, Russell (Butch) Alls Jr. and wife, Carolyn, Thomas Alls and wife, Judy, all of Blacksburg; five grandchildren, Kevin Alls, Neil Alls, Todd Alls, Brent Alls, and Jason Alls; six great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Heritage Hall and Good Samaritan Hospice. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Johnson and Pastor Rador Vaden officiating. Interment will follow in the Alls Family Cemetery, Mt. Tabor Road, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
