Alls, Ray Winston

Ray Winston Alls, age 87, of Blacksburg died, Thursday, May 19, 2016, at his home. He was born in Blacksburg on November 14, 1928 to the late Leslie and Annie Bell Duncan Alls.

Preceding him in death also were his sisters, Sadie Allen, Edith Shultz, his brothers, Harold Alls, Leslie Alls, Jr. and Donald Alls. He worked at Radford Brothers for many years and retired from the Power Plant at Virginia Tech.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Delsie Saunders Alls, daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Billy Atkins, grandson, Brandon Dove and wife, Carly, granddaughter, Amy Dove, sisters, Barbara Newcomb and Mary Lou Allen. Special thanks go to Heather, Sarah, Cindy and Debbie from Carillon Hospice for all their help.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating.

In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Carillon Hospice 707 Randolph St. Suite 251 Radford, Va. 24141. Per Mr. Alls requests, friends may pay their respects from 12-5:00 pm Friday afternoon at the McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
