Allison, Wade Hampton

amem_farm_tractor.jpgWade Hampton Allison, age 65 of Draper, died Monday July 9, 2012 in Friendship Manor in Salem. He was born on October 16, 1946 in Pulaski and was the son of the late Marion Zuydhoek Allison and Charles Hobert Allison.

Wade was a long-time farmer in Pulaski County, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of the Draper Ruritan.

He is survived by a sister, Ellen Allison Wandrei and her husband Robert of Bedford: two nephews; Steven Wandrei and his wife Marta of Bedford, Stuart Wandrei and his wife Kimberly of Sterling; great nephew; Cole Thomas Wandrei, along with many wonderful cousins, and his Draper Community Family.

A memorial service will be held Friday July 13, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at the Draper United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ruthanne Henley officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday July 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Allison Cemetery on Boyd Road.

Flowers will be appreciated, but for those who wish, please take a friend to lunch, smile at a stranger, and laugh with a child, or simply donate in Wade’s name to the charity of your choice.
