Alley, Hazel Bowman

Hazel Bowman Alley, age 99 of Pulaski, died Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Carroll County on April 19, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Viola Vass Bowman and the late William Ernest Bowman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James H. Alley: a son: James W. Alley: sisters; Helen Bowman Alley, Lottie Bowman Marshall, Rene Bowman: brothers; Burl M. Bowman and William A. Bowman, and a grandson; David Alley.

Hazel is survived by a son: Everett “Sonny” (Jolene) Alley of Fairlawn: Daughter in Law: Lois “Elaine” Alley of Pulaski, Sisters; Mary Bowman Burton of Dublin, and Rose Bowman Murphy of Mississippi. She is also survived by grandchildren; James A (Stephanie) Alley of Fairlawn, Sabrina (Tony) Conner of Dublin: great-grandchildren; Bryce (April) Alley of Dublin, Reese Alley of Fairlawn, Lucas (Amy) Conner of Covington, Jennifer (Mark) Reynolds of Christiansburg: great-great-grandchildren; David, James and Anna Conner, Madison and Morgan Capehart, and Hayden Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with Burl Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A private burial will be held on Thursday at the Appalachian Conference Pentecostal Holiness Cemetery in Dublin.
