Alley, Ernestine Marie

Ernestine Marie Alley, 64, of Dublin, Va. died Sunday afternoon, March 1, 2009 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, Va. She was born in Princeton, West Va. on August 1, 1944 and was the daughter of the late William Joseph Nichols and Charlotte Nichols. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Drayton Alley.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Ernie & Scylenea Alley, Dublin, Va., brother Dean Nichols, Princeton, West Va., and beloved grandchildren Hunter Alley and Drew Alley.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with Rev. Mike Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery, Draper, Va. Visitation will be Thursday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
