Allen, Peggy Sue Wineberger

Peggy Sue Wineberger Allen, age 74, of Christiansburg died, Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in West Virginia on March 23, 1942 to the late Hubert Bane and Maxine Wineberger, and was also preceded in death by her sister Patricia Whitlock.

She is survived by her husband, Claude Allen; daughter, Denise Bowman and fiance Steven Austin; son, CK Allen and fiance Janet Short and her children Justin and Victoria Short; sister, Betty Anderson; grandchildren, Rob Bowman, Nicole Hodges and husband Allen Hodges.

A private graveside service will be conducted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 200 Evans Street Christiansburg, VA 24073 and Alzheimer’s Association, 3959 Electric Road Suite 357 Roanoke, VA 24018.
