Allen, Mae Bradley

Mae Bradley Allen, 83, of Rich Creek, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at her home. Born January 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mattie Candler Bradley.

Mae was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rich Creek and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Ray Allen; two brothers, George and Lewis Bradley; and two sisters, Viola Crotty and Retha Wikle. Survivors include one son, Steven Ray Allen and wife, Cindy, of Dublin; two grandchildren, Brandon Allen, of Seattle, Wash. and Shana Allen Buzzard and husband, Luke, of Radford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, W.Va. with Pastor Doug Hyndrich and the Rev. Aubrey Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Rich Creek. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, at the funeral home.
