Allen, Euna Lee Spangler

Euna Lee Spangler Allen, 78, of Rich Creek, Va., passed away Monday, February 25, 2008, at Riverview Nursing Home, Rich Creek, Va.

She was born June 26, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Oran L. and Evelyn Shaw Spangler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry P. Allen; one brother, Lewis Spangler; and one sister, Jean Spangler. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker, secretary and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rich Creek, Va.

Survivors include one brother, Alfred Spangler and wife, Sue, of Rich Creek, Va.; three nieces; one nephew; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Birchlawn Abby Mausoleum, Pearisburg, Va., with the Rev. Aubrey Whitlow officiating. Those wishing to attend the services are asked to meet at the Mausoleum.

There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Riverview Nursing Home, 120 Virginia Ave., Rich Creek, Va. 24147.
