Allen, David Paul

David Paul Allen, 40, of Blacksburg, died Friday, December 11, 2015, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Radford July 16, 1975. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Smith Allen; and brother-in-law, Mark Whitescarver.

David graduated from Christiansburg High School and was a member of Belmont Christian Church and worked for Montgomery County Public Schools for 16 years.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Roger Lee Sr. and Peggy Allen; sister, Dawn Whitescarver, all of Christiansburg; brother, Roger Lee Allen Jr., of Blacksburg; special nephew and niece, Jeff and Katlyn Dove, of Radford; special friend, Jessie Hinkley, of Christiansburg, and many, many more friends; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Memorial services will be conducted 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015, in the Belmont Christian Church with Mr. Beaver Terry and Mr. David Rhudy officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont Christian Church Building Fund, 2149 Dominion Drive, Christiansburg, VA 24073. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg,
