Alice Hughes Lovern,

Alice Marie Lovern, 89, of Pulaski, died, Saturday, August 29, 2015, at her home. She was born in Pulaski County, on February 13, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Roy William Hughes and Fannie Mae Newton Hughes.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lovern; and by grandson, Todd Turpin.

Surviving are her children, Carol Church, Jean Larue, Steve Lovern, Sandra Bergara, and Franky Lovern. Numerous grandchildren; and numberous great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Edwards and Betty Edwards; best friends, Virginia Carter and Jeanie Lovern.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Wednesday, September 3, 2015, from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
