Alderman, Cassandra A.

Cassandra A. Alderman (Sandy), 44, of Christiansburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

Sandy was employed by Blacksburg Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff Department. She was a member of Faith Christian Church of Christ. Her true love of her life was her two sons.

Sandy is survived by her two sons, Jacob W. Hutchison and Andrew G. Hutchison; parents, Wayne and Phyllis Alderman; sister, Kimberly A. Buzzard and husband Owen Q. Buzzard; niece, Constance M. Buzzard; nephew, Jesse O. Buzzard; godmother, Michelle Linkous; and close friend, Shirley Bower.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 9, 2017, from 5-7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Faith Christian Church, with Pastor David Rhudy and Pastor Frankie Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Den Hill Cemetery.
