Albert, Kathleen Linkous

Kathleen Linkous Albert, age 89, of Christiansburg passed away on January 22, 2021 at her home. She was born on June 5, 1931 to the late Dallas and Carola Linkous.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Drexel L. Albert (Dick); sisters, Stina Thompson, Margaret Stone, Marie Lawson; brother, Dallas Linkous, Jr., special friend, Tom Gearheart.

She is survived by her children, Dexter Dean and Lorrie Albert, Angela A. and Scott Stamper, Clara and Larry Sowers; grandchildren, Rachel, Aaron, Ashley, Bradley; sister, Diane King. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Vicki, Crystal and Rebecca.

Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christiansburg Rescue Squad at 190 Depot Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
