Howd Thomas Albert, Jr., age 45, of Christiansburg died, Sunday, November 27, 2022. He was a hardworking man with a big heart and a contagious laugh.
He is survived by his daughters, Keira N. Albert (Jon Ratliff), Britani P. Albert; grandchild, Elyrah Ratliff; mother and stepfather, Carol and Eric Davis; father, Howd Albert, Sr.; brother, Jesse Davis; sisters, Candace Davis, Cheyanne Albert; mother of his children, Christina Albert; his best friend, Savage.
There will be no service. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Friday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg, Va.

I meet Howie when he was around 5 yrs old and I was around 7. We didn’t get to hang out much in our adult life but we always stayed in touch. And Howie ended up being my oldest sons cousin. Even our first born kids where born on the same day. I’ll miss him so very much

I worked with Howie for 8 years and kept in touch after that. Howie always spoke his mind and never knew a stranger. I will miss you.

Just a little over a week ago I walked up on him having a beverage at the bar. Put my arm around him in a side hug and asked do you come here often. He chuckled and said let me buy you a drink old buddy we chatted for about twenty minutes God must’ve need a special kind of angel RIP my friend. You definitely will be missed.

I took him in my life when he was 6 years old the day before he died we looked for a deer he shot until 11 at night I’ll see you later

He was a really cool dude for what lil bit of time Ive known him I’m blessed to have had a good friend like him you will be missed brother RIDE THAT HOG IN THE SKY love ya brother CHRIS…. Howie Jr you are going to be missed so very much. You were one heck of a guy,one of a kind. It’s not going to be the same with out you buddy. Going to miss sitting around the table at your dad’s shooting the crap. Between you and your dad y’all would have everyone’s stomach’s hurting from laughing so hard and your laugh was one of a kind also. I know your up there flying high riding that motorcycle watching over us all.
