amem_lighthouse.jpgFrankie James Akers, age 75 of Draper (Delton Community) passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Pulaski Community Hospital.

Born April 28, 1933 in Pulaski County he was the son of the late Jesse Wade Akers & Eliza Ellen Covey Larue. His wife; Nancy Simmons Akers; sister; Edna Sheppard and brother Ronald Wayne Akers also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 2:00 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Pastor George Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
