Akers, Eula Albert

Eula Albert “Eudie” Akers, age 74, of Dublin passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016, at her home. She was born on April 5, 1941 to the late Mark Henderson and Dorothy Annabelle McCoy Albert.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth R. Akers of Dublin; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Rocky Miller of Dublin; the one and only granddaughter, Chasity “Poohie” Miller and special friend Reneé Miller of Pulaski; sisters and brother-in-law, Eleanor A. King of Christiansburg, Edna A. “Kitty” Collins of Blacksburg, Estell A. Meredith of Wisconsin, Emily A. and Jerry Oliver of Christiansburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark H. “Mack”, Jr. and Sandy Albert of Giles County, Mitchell B. “Micky” and Diana Albert of McCoy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Phillis and Richard Aliff of Christiansburg; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Hodge officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm immediately before the service at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., SW, Blacksburg.
