Alta Watson Akers, 94, of Pulaski, Va., died Monday morning, August 18, 2008, at her home. Surviving are her daughter, Eileen A. Willard; and granddaughter, Suzanne Eileen Willard. Funeral service will be private and there will be no visitation. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
