amem_rhodo2.jpgVivian Peters Agee, 89, of Floyd, passed from this life to her Heavenly home on Sunday, April 30, 2006, her faith in Jesus was evident to all, a Faithful and Active member of Crossroads Holiness Church for more than 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Rev. Wilson H. Agee; grandson, tony Minnix and greatgranddaughter, Crystal Agee, Michigan.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Bedsaul and Verda Mae Agee, Breckenridge, Mich., Jack and Kathryn Agee, Blue Ridge; two daughters and sons-in-law, Velma and Sheldon Kelly, Roanoke, Nancy and Leslie Minnix, Troutville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Harris Peters, Floyd; and one sister, Clarice Cole, Pilot. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and all will cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at Woods Funeral Home Wednesday, 11 a.m., May 3, 2006 with Pastor Rev. John Early and the Rev. Jube Burke officiating. Burial will follow at the Moran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Wood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moran Cemetery.
