Agee, Areta “Rita” Morris

Areta “Rita” Morris Agee, 79, of Fairlawn, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014. She was a member of Morgans Chapel UMC. Rita was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Rudolph Agee, sister, Gaynell Ratcliffe, and brothers, Morgan and Philip Morris.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Michael Acuff of Knoxville, TN, Sarah and David Alderman of Frederick, MD, and Joy and Bill Webb of Radford; grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Sarah Wright, Mitcheal and Brianne Wright, Joseph and Priscilla Alderman, Caty Alderman and Taylor Higdon, Jessica and Nathan Stuart, and Patrick Webb; step grandchildren, Carisa Acuff, and Bryan and Angela Acuff; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, John and Mary Etta Morris, Hensel Morris, Loretta Pifer, all of Dublin, Barbara Hall of Snowville, Benny and Carol Morris of Pembroke, and Norma and Tom McPeak of Dublin; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Evelyn Smith, Fran Morris and Alfred Ratcliffe; and numerous other relatives.
The family would like to thank the staff of Wheatland Hills for their loving care of Rita during the time she made her home there.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests performing an act of kindness.
