Adkins, Arlie Rufus (Red)

Arlie Rufus (Red) Adkins, 83, of Pulaski, died on Saturday November 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born January 14, 1928 in Mackinaw, Michigan. He was a retired truck driver for Keal Drive Away Company with over 42 years of service. He also loved to work in his yard and talk about his experiences of traveling the country. He was preceded in death by two sons, Chuck Adkins, and Harvey Adkins. He is survived by special friends, Kathy and Jack Meadows of Pulaski, Dave Hardy, and Audrey Martin of Pulaski, and Don Hamlin of Dublin. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens with the Rev. Danny McGlothlin officiating.
