Adams, John Lewis

John Lewis Adams, 23, of Galax, passed away on Tuesday August 2, 2011. He enjoyed music, singing and wrestling. John also had a strong passion for his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Gayle Adams. Left to cherish his memory are his father, William E. Adams; grandparents, John and Mary Jernigan; and brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Jeannie Adams.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Minnick officiating. Interment will follow at the Brown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
