Wsazlek, Myrtle Elizabeth Finn

Myrtle Elizabeth Otey Finn Wszalek, age 82 of Winston Salem and formerly of Pulaski, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Born October 22, 1923 in Montgomery County she was the daughter of the late Harry Otey & Lena Spauldin Otey Woolwine.

Her infant son, David Wayne Finn, her first husband, Elbert Early Finn and her second husband, Henry S. Wszalek, two brothers; June Spaulding & Harry Jack Otey also preceded her in death.

She was a former employee of the Paul Knitting Mills, also the Virginia Maid Hosiery Mills. She retired in May of 2005 from Experienced Works, where she had been employed for 11 years at the New River Valley Community Action.

Surviving are: her son, Michael Lee Finn, Winston-Salem, NC; special friend, Randal W. Ferguson, Winston Salem, NC. Many nieces & nephews & much loved cousins & friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 19, at 2 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery (Pulaski). The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski.
