White, Dora McCoy

Dora McCoy White, 93, of McCoy, died Thursday, October 1, 2015. She was born in McCoy, VA on August 28, 1922 to the late Henry Ernest and Martha Dolana Kessinger McCoy.

She is survived by her husband, John W. White, of McCoy; a daughter, Patty White-Wood, Mechanicsville, VA; a son, Tony Ray White, of McCoy; three other sons; and a granddaughter, Angela Cheree Mathena, and a great grandson, Colin Ryan Mathena, all of McCoy.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Community Christian Church, McCoy, with Mr. David Williams, Mr. Jim Myers, and Mr. Jim Flaugher officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00-7:00 pm at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
