Robin and I went to Newbern Elementary School together. In 5th grade, she was “crazy” about Joe Namath and was a huge fan of Walter Cronkite. She said, at the time, that she wanted to grow up to be a journalist just like Walter.
Robin was real, kind, genuine. I don’t recall her ever saying a mean or harsh thing to anyone and treated everybody the same. She always seemed happy.
I’m so sorry that she was called from her family so soon.
