Ward, Joseph Lawrence

Joseph Lawrence Ward, 69, of 630 5th Street, N.E., Pulaski died Friday, May 5, 2006 in the Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born in Pulaski on July 3, 1936 and was the son of the late Joseph Everett Ward and Minnie B. Ward. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Ward. He was a retired employee of Pulaski Furniture and was a member of the Calvary Chapel, Dublin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are wife Elizabeth Martin Ward, Pulaski; special brother-in-law and wife Delmas and Marie Martin, Pulaski; brother-in-law and wife Berman and Jewell Martin of Pulaski and several cousins. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 p.m. a.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Alley officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with Pulaski V.F.W. Post #1184 conducting military graveside rites. Visitation will be Sunday evening from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
