Vaught, Winnifred “Freddie”

Winnifred “Freddie” Vaught, age 79, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 9th, 2019 while surrounded by her family.

Left to honor Freddie and remember her is her loving husband Junior Kaywood Vaught and her six children, Ron Milligan and wife Lisa Milligan, Tina Gardiner, Rob Milligan and wife Kerrin Milligan, Junior Vaught and wife Alecia Vaught, Tammy Vaught and Katherine Reed and husband Kevin Reed; 21 grandchildren, Desire Jones, Brittany Reed, Tyler Reed, Christina (Milligan) Brouillette, Curtis Milligan, Wendy Duncan, Ashley Vaught, Bridgette Vaught, Brandon Vaught, Josh Vaught, Zachary Vaught, Bethany Surrat, Franklin Lee Surratt, Jr., Mike Milligan, Angela Milligan, Bethany Milligan, Joshua Milligan, Nathan Milligan, Jeydon Whale, Brandon Gildon, and Paige Gardiner; two step grandchildren, Ashley Akers and Anastasia Macomber; 17 great-grandchildren, Zoey Finley, Jace Jones, Shawn Seagraves, Hunter Duncan, Austin Duncan, Briana Duncan, Alayna Boyd, Summer Boyd, Kylie Cox, Caden Vaught, Willow Vaught, Haylie Acra, Joey Acra, Killian Brouillette, Denham Brouillette, Aiden Milligan, and Briley Gardiner and two sisters Colleen and Cathy.

Freddie will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted and faithful wife of 53 years and someone that could make you smile every time you saw her. She cherished her family and always made sure that her kids were well and safe. She loved to tell stories to anyone that would listen and was always laughing and kidding with those around her. She will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at McCoy Funeral Home at 5:00 PM at 150 Country Club Drive Southwest, Blacksburg, VA 24060 with the Bishop. John Passic officiating. Visitation will be from 4-5 PM prior to the service.
