Tweedlie, Dorine Smith

Dorine Smith Tweedlie, 71, passed away Friday, April 28, 2006 at her home in Concord, N.C. She was born October 25, 1934 in Smyth County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Fount and Mattie Hill Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Frederick Francis Tweedlie of Concord, N.C.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Shane Tweedlie of Keen Mountain, Va., and Lee and Stefanie Tweedlie of Lake County, Calif.; four grandchildren, Jesse, Steven and Michael Tweedlie, and Samantha Page; and a brother, Raymond Smith of Manassas, Va.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Fairlawn Church of God with the Rev. Larry McCall officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the church.
