TODD, Mary Younger

Mary (Emby) Younger Todd, 86, of Radford, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 7, 2006.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, James S. Todd; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Bev Todd of Midlothian, Va.; daughter and son-in-law, Libby and Skip Watts of Radford, Va.; grandchildren, Stephanie Watts, Olivia and Justin Gortner, and Jamie Watts; nieces and nephews, Betsy and John Berry, Chris, Michael, and Tyler Berry of Fredericksburg, Va., Todd and Beth Twedt, Brent Twedt of California, Brad and Tammy Twedt of Oregon, Alan, Doris, and Darrell Twedt of California.

Emby taught school at VA Intermont College and Radford City Public Schools. She was a member of Grove United Methodist Church in Radford.

The family will receive friends at Grove United Methodist Church on Friday June 9, 2006 from 10 to 11 a.m., with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Bennington officiating. Interment will be at Westhampton Cemetery in Richmond, Va., Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 10 a.m. with Dr. Ray Spence officiating. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or to Grove United Methodist Church.
