Todd, Jacob

Jacob Todd of Bluefield, W. Va. formerly of Dublin, Va. died on Aug. 30, 2006 at the age of 83.

The son of the late Jacob Gilmore Todd, Sr. and Evelyn Todd Miller, he was born in Bluefield, W. Va. on Jan. 28, 1924. Jake is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Walter G. Todd (Buddy).

He leaves to cherish his memory, one sister, Brenda Eaves, Bluefield, W. Va.; six daughters, Evelyn Kaye Calfee, San Diego, Calif., Sandra Lynn Rollins, Dublin, Carolyn Faye Brown, Pulaski, Pamela Dawn Smith, and Alpha Sherry Stewart, Dublin, Mary Todd Allen, High Point, N.C.; one son, Walter Gilmore Todd, Sr., San Diego, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at Richardson Funeral Home, 910 Bland Street, Bluefield, W. Va. at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the church at 11 a.m. Family visitation will begin at 12 noon.
