TAYLOR, Mary June Hudson

Mary June Hudson Taylor, 83, of Pulaski, died Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 1, 1923 in Montgomery, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Thompson Hudson and Prince Albert “Ab” Hudson. She was a retired employee of Virginia Maid Hosiery Mills with 40 years of service, and was a member of the Dora Highway Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Archie Maynard Taylor of Pulaski; a sister, Muriel Hudson Farmer of Philadelphia, Pa.; two stepsons, Sheldon Taylor of Pulaski, and Conley Taylor of Bedford. She is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with the Rev. Harry Gunter and the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
