SUTPHIN, Pauline Allen

Pauline Allen Sutphin, 84, of Pulaski, Va., died Friday, July 28, 2006.

She was born July 19, 1922 in Pulaski County, Va., and was the daughter of the late Hubert T. and Gladys King Allen. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pulaski, Va., a member of the United Methodist Women’s Organization, has served on the Administrative Board and Secretary of Sunday School Classes for many years, and retired from Pulaski Furniture in the Dublin Plant with 18 years of service.

She is survived by one son’ Hubert L. “H.L.” Sutphin, Sr. of Pulaski: two daughters; Gladys Jane Umberger of Pulaski, and Senita S. Haga of Giles County: one sister; Thelma Robinson of Pulaski. Also survived by five grandsons, two granddaugters, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday July 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
