Stephens, Rebecca Ann

Rebecca Ann (Becky) Stephens, 58, of the Little Creek Community, Dublin, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 from Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born April 2, 1947 at Pulaski, Va., the daughter of the late John William and Nellie Wright Stephens.

She is survived by her husband, best friend, caregiver and companion of 40 years, Willie Hoge Stephens; three sons and daughters-in-law, William Douglas Stephens of the Southwestern Training Center, Hillsville, Thimothy Dewayne and Tammy Stephens, Campbellsville, Ken., John William and Priscilla Stephens, Pulaski; one sister, Linda Lovern Pulaski; two brothers, Arnold Stephens, Hanover, Penn. and Sergeant/Major Retired Stacy Stephens, Decatur, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Brittany, Haley and Kristy Stephens; four stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with the Rev. Allen Bouldin and Rev. Billy Akers officiating. Burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home after 1 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
