Spicer, Daniel H.

Daniel H. Spicer of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2008. Daniel was born in Giles County on November 7, 1947 to the late James W. and Ida May Keffer Spicer. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by a sister, Betty Jean Dalton and a brother, Richard “Dickey” Spicer.

Survivors include his wife, Vicky Spicer of Narrows; a son, Michael Spicer and girlfriend Missy Cromer of Pearisburg, VA; a daughter, Michelle Spicer of Pembroke, VA; three stepdaughters, Terry Blankenship and husband Ricky, Darla Hickle and husband Steve all of Narrows, Mary Griffith and husband David of Kentucky; one sister, Linda Hughes and husband Charles of Narrows; two brothers, Jackie Spicer and wife Connie of Narrows, Buddy Spicer of Peterstown. Daniel loved his three grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV with Rev. David Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Narrows. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2008.
