Snider, Jr., George Howard

George “Flash” Howard Snider, Jr., of Pearisburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at his apartment. George was born on February 13, 1978, in Blacksburg, VA and was a son of the late George Howard Snider, Sr. and Margaret Young Snider.

George loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, riding thru the mountains, especially visiting the fire tower on Butt Mountain. He also enjoyed playing basketball.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Epling Snider of Pearisburg, 2 stepsons, Kaden Snider and Cameron Ratcliffe, both of Narrows and his best friend, Brian “Manny” Manuel of Richmond.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 2pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends 2 hours before the service from 12 – 2pm. Online condolences can be sent to the family at givensfuneralhome.com.
