Snider, Anthony Brian (Tony)

Anthony Brian (Tony) Snider, 41, of Rich Creek, departed this life on Saturday morning, August 18, 2012, at his home in the loving care of his family after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born in Radford on January 29, 1971, he was a son of the late Emery Blacky and Nancy Louise Saunders Snider. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Barry and Matthew Snider; and his sister, Leann Snider. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 21 years, Rebecca Reynolds Snider; his son, Ezekiel Lee Snider, of Rich Creek; his daughter, Reshelle Ann Carbaugh, of Pearisburg; his granddaughter, Sophie Katalina Carbaugh, of Pearisburg; his brother, Barney Snider, of Rich Creek; his sisters, Lynn Snider and Tammy Bryant Snider, both of Rich Creek; his half brother, David Blackenbecker; his sister-in-law, Ann Hodge, of Blacksburg; and his good friends, Chandi and Joe Kessinger. Memorial services with family and friends will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.
