Smith, Stella B.

Stella B. Smith, of Blacksburg, died January 5, 2006.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin W. Smith; and sister, Jessie Mae Stocks, Birmingham, Ala.; a niece, Connie Forman and two nephews, David Stocks and Wayne Stocks.

During World War II, she worked in Oak Ridge ,Tenn., and in Los Alamos, N.M., in the nuclear program. In Virginia, she enjoyed working as an antique dealer.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, January 8, 2006, at 3 p.m., Heritage Hall, Blacksburg, Va.
