Smith, Frank Wesley

Frank (Sonny) Wesley Smith, 76, of 6620 Annie Akers Road, Radford, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and a truck driver with Online Transport with 60 years service. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Gordon Smith Sr. and Ruth Lucado Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy N. Smith; sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Teena Smith, Ronnie Smith, George Smith, and Michael and Tammy Smith all of Radford; 10 grandchildren, Randy, Sharon, Kimberlee, Kellsie, Kristal, Derrick, Brandi, Becky, Luke and Wesley; six great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Whitney Smith of Snowville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford with Pastor Jerry Gibson and Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the church. Flowers will be appreciated or contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The Smith family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
