Shrewsberry, Tony Dwayne
Tony Dwayne Shrewsberry, 59, went to be with the lord Sunday, December 10th, 2023, at his home in West End, Radford. He was a standing member of Bro. Dale Akers church Peak Creek Ministries in Pulaski, Va.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Robert Shrewsberry; stepfather, Keith “Marty” Martin; and brother, Stephen Shrewsberry.
His survivors include his wife, Dana Shrewsberry; his mother, Lettie “Carlene” Martin; his loving daughters and sons-in-law, Gena Leigh Shrewsberry (Wayne Lucado), Brooke Nicole Akers (Josh Akers), Tiffany Paige Shrewsberry (David Fields), and Chloe Beth Shrewsberry; stepson, Christopher “Jonah” Pagan; his many grandkids and bonus grandkids, Greyson, Haley, Haleigh, and Rozalynn; his brother, Kevin Martin; sister-in-law, Melinda “Sue” Shrewsberry; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Tony loved the Lord and instilled his faith in his children as much as he could. He grew up and spent most of his life in Westend Radford where he made a career for himself through New River Heating and Air. He has always loved to work and help others unless he just couldn’t. He had such a since of humor and would talk with you for hours if he could. He will forever be missed by many, but now he walks the streets of gold with his heavenly father.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 4-6 pm at West Radford Church of God, 1824 W Main Street, Radford, VA 24141. Funeral services will begin at 6 pm with Pastor Danny Newman officiating.
