Robertson, Patricia Williams

Patricia Ann Robertson, 56, of the Hoges Chapel Community at Pembroke, departed this life at her home Thursday morning, May 22, 2008 after a long illness. Born in Giles County on December 21, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Isaac Edward and Lura Ann Elizabeth Williams.

Before her illness she had been employed in dining services at VPI. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Richard and Gene Williams.

She is survived by her sons, The Rev. Jerry Beaver and his wife Heidi of Wisconsin and Brian Beaver of Arkansas; a brother, Thomas Williams of Hoges Chapel; six sisters, Mardell W. Hilton of Blacksburg, Mary Helen Meredith, Druscilla W. Huffman, Barbara W. Gray all of Hoges Chapel, Bonnie W. Hobbs of Blacksburg, Betty W. Southern of Hoges Chapel; four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with The Rev. Jerry Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in the Ed Williams Cemetery on Sinking Creek Road at Pembroke.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral expenses. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome. com
