Rigney, Albert Eules

Albert Eules Rigney, 88 of Pulaski, passed peacefully at his home on Wednesday August 22, 2012. Eules, a lifetime native to Virginia, was born in the Delton area of Pulaski County on July 17, 1924 to Albert Gaglee Rigney and Matilda Rigney. Those remaining to cherish their fond memories of Eules include: Hazel Meredith Rigney, his devoted wife of 60 years, his daughters Joyce Crowder and Shirley Rigney, his granddaughter India Crowder and her special friend Corey Akers, sister Elsie Morgan and countless other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings Emory, Lloyd, Lewis, Elizabeth, Raymond, Eula, and Stella; son-in-laws Rick Crowder and Steve Thompson. Eules was a man of great character, few words, good gestures and honest morals. He retired from the Radford Arsenal and was a veteran having served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Newbern Christian Church, D.O.C. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. A private interment will follow.
