Ratcliffe, Verna Dalton

Verna Dalton Ratcliffe, 90,of Radford, died Saturday, June 21, 2008 in Carilion New River Medical Center.

She was the widow of Auburn P. Ratcliffe and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lucy H. and Bobby Hanks, Hiwassee; a son and daughter-in-law, A. Michael and Karen Ratcliffe, Floyd; a sister, Lyndall D. Mason, Radford; five grandchildren, Bobbi McMillin, James Hanks, David Hanks, John Hanks and Jessica Hanks.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with Dr. Paul Lane and the Rev. Kent Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
