Rasnake, Kenneth Ray

Kenneth Ray Rasnake, 63 of Newport left this Earth on November 16, 2023 to meet his Heavenly Father. He was born on May 30, 1960 to Jessie and Juanita Gilbert Rasnake.

Kenny loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He also loved playing music with friends and family. He never met a stranger and would do anything for a friend. Professionally, Kenny served as a cook for Virginia Tech, and a Kitchen Supervisor for Radford University.

In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Rasnake.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 41 years, Teresa Fisher Rasnake; a special son, Jason Rasnake; brother and wife, Mike and Jane Rasnake; two nieces, Angel Rasnake and Amanda Crumpler; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will have a time of visitation on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will conclude in the Williams Cemetery in Newport, Virginia.
