Quesenberry, Louise Roope
Louise “Auntie” Roope Quesenberry, 98, of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Spring Oak Senior Living in Christiansburg. Auntie was the daughter of the late Harry and Emily Roope of Christiansburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph N. Quesenberry, of 50 years; brothers James W. Roope, H.L. Roope, Glennard Roope; sisters Edna R. Case and Marie R. Moran; nephew John Roope; nieces Cynthia and Sharon Roope.
Auntie is survived by nephew Jay Moran (Kelly); nieces Jamie Bond (Wendell), Kim Brumfield (Steve), and Jennie Stewart. Along with many great-nieces and great-nephews, she loved dearly.
Auntie was a long-term member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and loved being with people. She especially enjoyed time with her family and watching baseball. Her youthfulness will surely be missed.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 4, 2024 at 2:00 in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Derflinger of St. Paul United Methodist Church and Pastor David Neal of Oak Grove Church officiating

I’m so sorry for your loss! My mother is at Spring Oak so I saw Auntie often and loved talking with her. At the Mother’s Day brunch, I sat next to her and we had a blast. I will truly miss visiting with her.
May God’s comfort be felt during this season.
