Betty “Sissy” Joyce Quesenberry, age 74 of Dublin, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 in Pulaski Community Hospital. Born November 17, 1931 in Florida, she is the daughter of Bessie Andrews Weaver & the late Earnest Blondie Weaver.

She was a member of the Heritage Church in Dublin & a retired cook at Dublin Elementary School with over 20 years of service.

She is survived by her husband Donald Cecil Quesenberry of Dublin: her mother; Bessie Andrews Weaver of Dublin: 3 sons; Donald Cecil Quesenberry, Jr. of Barren Springs, Tommy J. Quesenberry of Dublin; & Curtis Wayne Quesenberry & his wife Karen of Dublin: 5 daughters; Judith Ann Melvin & her husband Russell of Maryland, Bonnie Jean Diffenderfer of Meadowview, Va., Patty Quesenberry of Pulaski, Margaret Crosier & her husband Mike of Dublin, & Wanda Hensley & her husband Allen of Fairlawn: 1 brother; Jerry Weaver and his wife Jenny of Anchorage, Alaska: 3 sisters; Louise Dalton of Dublin, Elizabeth Fiore & her husband A.V. of South Port, N.C., & Shirley Shelton & her husband J.B. of Christiansburg. Also survived by a special sister-in-law; Sylvia Rupe of Dublin, a special daughter; Wanda Jones of Pulaski, 13 grandchildren, & 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with the Rev. Mike Brummitt & the Rev. Ron Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Thorn Spring Cemetery. Visiting will be anytime Wednesday after 4 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Flowers will be appreciated, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions to the Heritage Church P.O.
