Poff, Susie Link

Susie Link Poff, 77, of Check, passed away Friday, June 30 2006. Mrs. Poff was born July 27, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer L. “Dude” Poff.

Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Leonard and Peggy Poff, of Salem, Earl and Gail Poff, of Check, Dale and Reva Poff, of Pilot, Mike Poff and fiance, Amy Conner, of Check; one daughter, Helen Poff, and her husband, David Barker, of Christiansburg; ten grandchildren, Eric, and wife, Jennifer Childress, Noah Poff, Chasity, and husband, Lee Brown, Ronnie Williams, Maranda Poff, Zach Poff, Evan Poff, Alex Poff, Daniel Poff, and Trey Walker; six greatgrandchildren, Seth Kemp, Logan Brown, Taylor Williams, Mason Childress, Cymberly Cressell, and Casey Cressell; two sisters, Beulah Lutz and Lucille Linkous; one brother-in-law, Edgar Linkous; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Poff and Margorie Nichols.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Alley officiating. Interment will follow at Huffville Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday after 3 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd.
