Phillipp, Stephen Thomas

Stephen Thomas Philipp, age 53 of 6108 Danny Avenue, Dublin passed away Wednesday, May 10 2006 at New River Medical Center, Christiansburg, Virginia. Born June 26, 1952 in Queens, New York, he is the son of Ethel Marie Philipp and the late Walter Edward Philipp.

He was a graduate of James Madison University and New River Community College, Dublin. He was a computer technician and programmer.

Surviving are his wife Deborah Kay Forlines Philipp of Dublin; sons Erin William Philipp of Dublin and Nathan Edward Philipp of Dublin, two grandchildren, Justin Douglas Philipp and Ona Marie Philipp; his mother, Ethel Marie Philipp of Radford; sisters Margaret Boyle of Quinton, VA. and Elaine Volpe of Lake Grove, New York; mother-in-law Elizabeth Forlines of Salem; and a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be conducted Monday 10 a.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Jonathan Webster officiating. Interment will follow 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, West Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.
