Pettus, Linda Richardson

Linda Richardson Pettus completed her journey on this earth on Friday, December 18, 2020. She was born in Montgomery County on August 27, 1948 to the late Harold C. and Lillian Linkous Richardson, and was granddaughter to the late Kent and Marjorie B. Richardson and William C. and Ellen V. Linkous.

Linda was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Odell Pettus; brother, Joey C. Richardson; and sister, Sherry Richardson Dellinger.

Linda is survived by her sons, Bobby Pettus (Cheryl), Daryl Pettus, Darin Pettus (Tracy); sisters and brothers-in-law, Kaye Cromer (Rick),
Odessa Collins (Jamie); brothers and sister-in-law, James H. Richardson, John S. Richardson (Martha); grandchildren, Chasity, Amy, Samantha, Mathew, Bobbie and Collie; great-grandchildren, Esmeralda, Thalia, Alexis, Maycie, Elena, Amaya, Elijah, Montana, Abagail, and Adilyn; aunts, Mary K. Linkous, Sylvia R. Linkous; as well as nieces, nephews, beloved cousins, and special friends.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, a service commemorating Linda’s life will be arranged at a more appropriate date.

‘Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that’s how I’ll remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don’t remember me at all.’
